2nd International rodding conference

2nd International Conference and Workshop on Anode Rodding Plants for Primary Aluminium Smelters

Two conferences on anode rodding plants have now been held in Reykjavik, Iceland – the first in September 2001 and the second in September 2003.  About 145 delegates from 20 countries attended the hugely successful second conference, which provided an opportunity to discuss common problems in rodding shop operations and explore latest developments. The conference has now been firmly established as a platform for development and exchange of ideas in this important and previously neglected field of the aluminium industry.
