The Technological Institute of Iceland (IceTec)
IceTec is a state-owned non-profit research institute with the aim to serve the Icelandic Industry in further development. Acting in close co-operation with Icelandic companies, the institute focuses on R&D;, technology transfer, education, consulting, and testing in order to increase innovation, productivity, and competitiveness of Iceland's economy. IceTec's Department of Material and Environmental Technology has over many years gathered experience in the field of light metals and aluminum in particular.
Metal Park
Metal Park is Iceland's Competence Centre in the field of light metals and was created in 1998 in order to promote the growth of the industry related to this field. The main focus is on increasing general awareness for light metals in Iceland, participate in and stimulate R&D; work in this field, and last, to assist in school and university education. Metal Park is located at IceTec's Materials Department.
DMG World Media (UK) / Aluminum International Today
DMG World Media is the publisher of Aluminum International Today, a globally circulated journal for the aluminum industry. The company's mission is to help professionals in industry and commerce enhance the effectiveness of their businesses by providing them with high quality information delivered through a comprehensive portfolio of magazines, online media, market reports, exhibitions and conferences. The number of publication amounts to over 30 magazines and 15 yearbooks, in addition to organising more than 25 exhibitions and conferences around the world.
Iceland Travel
The travel agency is a subcontractor to IceTec and will take care of reservations, booking, travel formalities and accomodation.
